How to Review Student Engagement in the Gradebook: 2025–26 School Year
Engagement data shows the amount of time a student spends on a question compared to the class average. This data is available for Digital Quizzes and Lessons. For Digital Lessons only, it will also inform the teacher if a student tried again on a question they answered incorrectly.
- To access Engagement Data, from your dashboard, click “Assignments” in the upper-right corner.

- Use the search bar, filters, and tabs to find the correct assignment.

- Click “Gradebook” to see student data on this assignment.

- From the summary page, click the percentage under the “Student Work” column.

To see student engagement, click “Engagement” in the grading panel.

- Locate “Time on Task,” which will tell the amount of time a student spent on a question compared to the class average.

For Digital Books:
7. For Digital Lessons, you will be able to see if students selected “Try Again.”
