How Students Access and Take a Quiz or Lesson: 2025–26 School Year

Lessons are only available for assignment if you have purchased our Digital Lessons.

Before students can access a quiz or lesson, make sure you have assigned it.  

  1. Students log into their S²TAR Center account. How Student Access and Take a Quiz or Lesson 1 _1_
  2. On the Student Dashboard, students will see any lessons or quizzes that have been assigned, sorted by due date and time. Students will click “Start” to begin the assignment. Any grayed-out assignment is not open to students yet. How Student Access and Take a Quiz or Lesson 2
  3. Students will answer the questions and navigate through the assignment. How Student Access and Take a Quiz or Lesson 3
  4. At the end of the assignment, students will see their summary page. The Quiz and Lesson summary page will look different based on immediate feedback vs. delayed feedback. A Quiz provides delayed feedback after a student submits the entire quiz. A Lesson provides immediate feedback after a student submits each question. To submit their assignment, students will click “Submit.” How Student Access and Take a Quiz or Lesson 4

Digital Lessons are currently available for SBM 3–5, ESB 3–5, and RDG 3–5.  If your school currently is using the physical version of these titles for this academic year, you are unable to switch to this program.  If you are interested in using it in the upcoming school year, please have your school administration reach out to us at info@simplesolutions.org. We will make a note of your interest for the next purchasing cycle.
